Website privacy notice

Effective 16 July 2026 · Borago Soft Limited, New Zealand

Scope

This notice covers this website only. The Borago Board desktop app and the optional cloud service have their own privacy policies, shown in the app and at sign-up.

What this site does not do

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. There are no accounts, no forms, and nothing to accept, which is why you see no cookie banner. The download page detects your operating system locally in your browser to suggest the right download; nothing about that is sent or stored anywhere.

What is processed

The site is static files served from a content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront/S3). Like effectively all web hosting, serving a page or a download produces standard access logs: your IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, and a timestamp. We use these only to operate the service and to detect abuse, and we look at them in aggregate (for example, download counts). They are retained briefly and are not combined with any other data. Where EU/UK law applies, our legal basis is legitimate interest in running and securing the site.

Your rights and contact

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. For any privacy question or request, contact Borago Soft.

Changes

If this site ever changes what it collects (for example, adding analytics), this notice will be updated first and the effective date revised.
