What has been run by a person, what has only been built, and the one thing to know per platform.
Docker is required everywhere. On Linux the app installs Docker and gVisor with one administrator prompt. On Mac and Windows it downloads and verifies the Docker Desktop installer and opens it. See what the app sets up for you.
The level is computed from our release checklists, never declared by hand. Verified means a person ran at least 70% of that platform's checklist. Tested means some of it was run, or a specific behaviour was verified there. Built means the installer exists and none of us has run it yet. An unticked row is a test not yet run, not a failure. What this means for you
A Verified platform is one we would answer support questions about from experience. A Built platform should work where its installer is the same file as a Verified sibling on the same package format, and the difference is a desktop we have not sat in front of. Where no sibling is Verified yet, Built means only that the installer exists and builds cleanly. If you run one and something is off, tell us which platform and what you saw, and the row moves.
Windows 10 runs the same installer as Windows 11. Windows 10 is past its consumer support date, so the operating system underneath is not patched without paid extended updates.
